BioDiesel

Hunter Oil & Propane, Inc. is a proud supplier of environmentally friendly B-20 BioDiesel. We have a pumping station at our bulk plant located at 1203 S. Horner Blvd in Sanford, NC. We can also deliver to your location/tank in quantities of 2000 gallons or less within our delivery area, which includes Lee, Harnett, Wake, Moore and Chatham counties.

Methanol

Hunter Oil & Propane, Inc. now carries Methanol for both racing and for making biodiesel. Our Pro-Premium 100% Methanol is purified to enhance protection, consistency and performance. It also produces long term results.

Backyard Brewing

In the United States, it is legal to make biodiesel, put it in your vehicle and drive on-road. Because of this, there is a sizeable community of "home brewers" who are collecting feedstocks (usually used fryer oils) and making biodiesel to meet their individual fuel needs.

The production of biodiesel requires feedstock, methanol and a catalyst, usually potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide.
